My name is Tanya Athannassova and I am the artist and creator of the Silk Scarves Colorado products.

The 100% silk scarves that I am hand painting are unique artistic creations - they are fashionable accessories that make a bold statement. 

My approach to my art is non-traditional: I love adding texture to my scarves, using bold outlines or metallic paint for accents as well as beads or knitted elements incorporated in the design.  My main goal is to bring the silk scarf closer to jewelry.

The dyes I use are non-toxic and have been steam set for permanence.  Each of my creations has been designed with artistic integrity and contains my signature.
